New Haven Ministries, USA “Pray for Trinidad 2007”

Pray for The Peace of Jerusalem –Worship 24 Hour Celebration

This is to inform you that Pastor Matthew Singh of New Haven Ministries in Richmond Hill, New York, together with Pastors from across America, are once again coming to Trinidad to gather “prayer Intercessors” in a contending prayer against evil that are operating in the land. Trinidadians living in the US and other countries are saddened by the brutal, savage and senseless crimes, the rampant kidnappings, murders and crimes against children, its citizens and visitors. We believe in the power of united prayer. The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ) will be promoted in Trinidad during a 24 hour prayer that will be executed at Faith Centre in San Fernando.

From July 7th – 17th, 2007, a delegation of Pastors and church leaders representing such countries as Israel, Africa, US and the Philippines will be traveling to Trinidad. The purpose of the visit is to gather a representation of the nation of Trinidad for solemn prayer against the evil that is plaguing the land, and to hold hands across the nation and bow before our God to seek mercy and grace from our King Jesus. Revelations from God for the island among clergies within the US, etc will be shared at that time.

“Pray for Trinidad” will be accomplished through a core of Seven churches. There will be Seven nights of prayer vigils with each night hosted by one of the seven churches that are scattered throughout the island. On July 13th – 14th, from 6:00 pm to 6:00 pm, there will be a 24 hour prayer vigil hosted by Faith Centre in San Fernando. During the 24 hour prayer vigil, local worship teams will be asked to lead one (1) hour worship and intercession. We will be introducing the “Day of Prayer for the peace of Jerusalem” founded by Jack Hayford and Robert Stearns.

Participation in the “Pray for Trinidad” move is without monetary cost to local Pastors. The team of US clergies and officials will come to the local churches at their own expense. Our focus will be on prayer. There will be No promotion of any church or organization or individual ministries. Island wide local worship teams and prayer intercessors are welcome to join the team of US ministers. Interested Ministries can email us for details.

We invite you and your congregants to attend these services, and the 24 hour prayer vigil. An itinerary will be available at Faith Centre on or before July 1st 2007. We are certain that the Body of Christ in Trinidad & Tobago is doing its part to pray for the Nation. We want to join with you to strengthen that resolve. We want to see our island restored to its original dedication – La Trinity – the three persons of the Godhead.

Every church on the island of Trinidad is asked to join in this nationwide prayer effort.

Our Vision for 2007 is Project Gideon 300.

God reduced Gideon’s Army from 32,000 to 300 soldiers. Their weapon was the Trumpet. Gideon’s first task was to tear down the altar of Baal (False religion). God’s Vision for New Haven Ministries is to build an army of 300 worshippers. Our weapon for spiritual warfare will be the sound of the “trumpet of worship”, the sound of the Shofar, the sound of worship music blowing in the community. Our task will be to tear down the altars of evil, false religion and hatred. In it’s place we will build altars of worship, compassion for Christ and Love for our neighbors.

We are asking God to give us an army of 300 worshippers in 300 hundred days from October 15th 2006 to August 10th2007. With this number we can begin our tasks. This army of worshippers will attend our church weekly, become involved in every area of our ministry, will be trained for spiritual battle, become sold out and branded for Jesus. The trumpets will be their voices, a voice raised up in this community to stand against evil. We will become the trumpet! We are now campaigning in Richmondhill to seek out every soldier for the Kingdom of God, to sign up, get enlisted, get on the train, plane, boat, ship with Jesus and become one of the 300 worshipping soldiers who will help tear down the walls of hate and overcome evil with good in our community.
